Variety Information

The objective of the Saskatraz project in Saskatchewan is to breed gentle, productive honey bee colonies with tolerance to mites and brood diseases. The primary selection criterion was increased honey production.

Cleaned out dead bees and shuffled around boxes.

2025-05-08: Released queen from cage.
